There’s No Problem You Can’t Run Away From

DECEMBER 15 - 21, 2018

Oh hey! It's been awhile - Since taking a full-time job in Chicago my travels have been limited, but I couldn't resist a quick trip to Europe to visit my BFF, Marta.

My first stop was Valencia, Spain. Marta has lived in Valencia at three different points in her life so I was pumped to finally experience one of her favorite cities and meet all her Spanish friends (s/o to Jei).

Our adventure began with a Marta led tour of the city followed by a glass of Sangria overlooking downtown. The next day my jet lagged settled in and we spent the day being osos perezosos (Spanish for sloths).

After a lazy Sunday, we picked our pace back up and I joined Marta at work. Marta is teaching English in Valencia (similar to what I was doing in Thailand) so I stepped back into Teacher Liv mode and spent the day making snowflakes with the cutest Spanish kids.

Marta's parents joined us halfway through my time in Valencia and together we took a paella cooking class, explored the famous the Arts & Sciences Museum and Aquarium, and of course, ate fabulous food.

Next stop - Barcelona!
