HaNoi and Ha Long Bae
FEBRUARY 23 - 25, 2018
Wow did things go smoother this time around in Vietnam. I learned my lesson and made sure to have my visa ready BEFORE heading to the airport. Throwback to my first Vietnam Visa disaster. PSA - Vietnam.
Once we arrived in the capital of Vietnam, Hanoi, we checked out walking street for some dinner and drinks. This is the moment that initiated my latest obsession, tiny tables. In Hanoi the streets are filled with miniature, plastic tables where both tourist and locals sit and enjoy drinks while observing passerbyers. I will 100% be investing in a tiny table upon my return to the United States.
Saturday we took a looong (but so worth it) drive to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ha Long Bay. You may recognize it from the movie King Kong. From the limestone cliffs to the hidden caves, Ha Long Bay was breathtaking and I'm excited to cross another famous landmark off my list.
Sunday we continued to explore Old Quarter Hanoi and of course I had to stock up on some Vietnamese coffee and other souvenirs.
Unfortunately, I do have some bad news to share... I lost the sim card for my camera before I was able to upload my latest Vietnam pictures so I apologize for the lack of photos.
